With The Tide

Part of her series called "Field Trip" Glenda takes the viewer across Canada in all the provinces and territories that she had lived in or visited often.

This series involves taking the familiar and creating something new in abstraction. She was intrigued by looking beyond the original object or inspiration- to overcome intuition and to encourage people to think more deeply about what they are seeing or experiencing. The goal was to create an emotional connection to the original subject with a unique perspective.
